     David Roberts was born on 19 November 1825 at South Carolina.1,6 He was the son of Philip Roberts and Mary Ann Evans.5 David married Sarah Rebecca Bolton.7,2,8,9 David died on 11 March 1903 at age 77 years, 3 months and 20 days at South Carolina.1 He was buried at Brown's Chapel Methodist Cemetery in Richland County, South Carolina.1

     Mary Jane Roberts was born on 25 August 1861 at Chester County, South Carolina.2 Mary Jane married John H. Wise, son of John H. Wise and Mary Leanna Williams.2 Mary Jane Roberts died on 30 November 1927 at South Carolina at age 66 years, 3 months and 5 days.2

Philip returned a plat for 203.50 acres at Richland District, South Carolina, on 23 January 1846.4

Philip and William T. Roberts returned a plat for 85 acres on Sow Branch at Richland District, South Carolina, on 7 March 1849.5
