     Peter Burkey was born circa 1788 at Germany.1 Peter married Barbara Wick.1 Peter died before March 1860 at Audrain County, Missouri.2
     

Peter immigrated to the United States from Germany in 1844. He arrived at the port of New Orleans, and went to Audrain County, Missouri.3,4

Peter Burkey became a citizen of the United States. His country of allegiance had previously been Germany.4

Peter made a will on 17 November 1859 at Audrain County, Missouri, in which he left property to Jacob Burkey, Margaret Burkey, Catherine Miller, Peter Burkey, Andrew Burkey, Magdaline Burkey, Anthony Burkey and Sibella Engle.5

The estate of Peter Burkey was admitted for probate on 8 March 1860 at the County Court, Audrain County, Missouri.6

     John Stephen Burnsides was born on 14 February 1817 at Lancaster, Garrard County, Kentucky.1 John Stephen married Ann Eliza Naylor, daughter of Samuel Naylor and Sarah Pollard, on 18 November 1841 at Garrard County, Kentucky.2 John died on 2 October 1892 at age 75 years, 7 months and 18 days at Baker County, Oregon.1 He was buried at Rock Creek Cemetery in Haines, Baker County, Oregon.1
     

John began military service in the United States Army on 26 January 1862.1 John ended military service on 21 October 1862.1

John moved to Oregon from Kansas between 1878 and 1882.1

     Mary Butner was born on 3 December 1803 at Kentucky.1 Mary married Durett Hubbard.1 Mary died on 19 October 1859 at age 55 years, 10 months and 16 days at Boone County, Missouri.1 She was buried at Little Bonne Femme Church Cemetery in Boone County, Missouri.1

Jeanette Burns1

     Jeanette Burns was born on 8 October 1843 at Scotland.2,3 Jeanette married John Ess, son of Henry Ess and Catharine Schnider.4,2 Jeanette died on 17 January 1876 at age 32 years, 3 months and 9 days at Missouri.2 She was buried at Macedonia Cemetery in Audrain County, Missouri.5
