     Sarah E. Schooling was born between 1843 and 1844 at Missouri.1,2 She was the daughter of Dr. William L Schooling and Nancy Pollard.1 Sarah E. married first Jonathan Winn, son of William R. Winn and Mary Park, in March 1860 at Boone County, Missouri.3 Sarah E. married second Abner G. Ballard on 5 July 1869 at Boone County, Missouri.3

Dr. William L Schooling1

     Dr. William L Schooling was born circa 1819.2 William L married Nancy Pollard, daughter of Reuben Pollard and Rebecca Brink, on 14 November 1842 at Boone County, Missouri.3 William died on 14 April 1850 at California.4
     

William went to California at the time of the gold rush.5

His obituary appeared on 21 June 1850 in the newspaper "The Columbia Missouri Statesman" at Columbia, Boone County, Missouri.4

Administration was granted for the estate of Dr. William L Schooling on 23 August 1850 at Boone County, Missouri.6

     Martha Schuyler was born between 1814 and 1816 at Kentucky.2,3 Martha married Benjamin W. Turner, son of Thomas Turner and Nelly Dill, on 30 December 1845 at Boone County, Missouri, in a ceremony performed by William Warren Tucker.1
     

The seventh United States census was taken in 1850. Martha was enumerated as "Martha Turner", in the household of Benjamin W. Turner at Boone County, Missouri. Her given age was 34 and her given place of birth was Kentucky.2

The eighth United States census was taken in 1860. Martha was enumerated as "Martha Turner", in the household of Benjamin W. Turner at Rocky Fork Township, Boone County, Missouri. Her given age was 46 and her given place of birth was Kentucky. She was not able to read or write.3

Sarah Ann Severance1

     Sarah Ann Severance was born on 14 December 1845 at Kentucky.1,2 Sarah Ann married Perry Thornton Pollard Sr., son of Staunton Pollard and Elizabeth King, on 17 September 1867 at Lincoln County, Kentucky.3 Sarah died on 20 August 1890 at age 44 years, 8 months and 6 days at Crab Orchard, Lincoln County, Kentucky.1 She was buried at Crab Orchard Cemetery in Garrard County, Kentucky.1
     

Sarah was also known as Sallie Pollard.4

The tenth United States census was taken in 1880. Sarah was enumerated in the household of Perry Thornton Pollard Sr. as his wife, "Sallie Pollard"|Her given age was 34 and her given place of birth was Kentucky, at Crab Orchard, Lincoln County, Kentucky. Her father was said to have been born in what appears to be "L. H." and her mother was said to have been born in Kentucky.4
