     Drury Fletcher may have been born circa 1754, based on the dates of other known events in his life.5,4 Drury married Sarah Benham, daughter of John Benham and Mary Hobbs, on 6 July 1786 at Washington County, Virginia.6,7,2,4 Drury died in 1817 at Lee County, Virginia.2,8
     

Drury appeared on a tax list for the first time in 1782 at Lunenburg County, Virginia, as "Drury Fletcher".2,9

Drury appeared on the tax list of 1786 at Washington County, Virginia.2

Drury and Sarah Benham conveyed land at Washington County, Virginia, on 23 August 1788. This was the land Drury purchased from Joel Hobbs in 1786.10,11

Drury appeared on the tax list of 1790 at Russell County, Virginia.3

Drury moved to Russell County (now Lee County) Virginia from Washington County, Virginia in 1802.12

Drury appeared on the tax list of 20 March 1799 at Lee County, Virginia. He was taxed on one white male above 16, and three horses.13

Drury purchased a tract of land lying on Powell River from Mary Benham, John Benham Jr., Vincent Benham and William Benham at Russell County, Virginia, on 21 June 1802. This land had been bequeathed to the Benhams by the will of their father, John Benham, Sr.14

Drury purchased 120 acres on 21 June 1802.15

Drury and Sarah Benham were divorced in 1809 at Lee County, Virginia. Drury Fletcher's divorce petition stated that his wife, Sarah "without any cause or evil treatment" eloped with and married Edward Wilburn.16

Drury appeared on the tax list of 28 May 1810 at Lee County, Virginia. He was taxed on one tithable, no slaves and four horses.17

Drury conveyed a tract of land at Lee County, Virginia, to James Fletcher on 2 March 1816.18

Drury conveyed a tract of land to William Fletcher in January 1817. William sold this tract of land on June 29, 1817 to John Zion, Sr.19

     Eliza Preston Fletcher was born on 9 February 1838 at Missouri.2,4,5,6 She was the daughter of James Fletcher and Nancy Nave.2,3 Eliza married Lewis Woodger Cox, son of Solomon Cox and Deborah Collins, on 17 November 1858 at Missouri. They were married at the home of the bride near Lexington, Lafayette County, Missouri.7,1 Eliza died on 19 April 1921 at age 83 years, 2 months and 10 days at Rifle, Garfield County, Colorado.7,4,8 She was buried at Dover Cemetery in Dover, Lafayette County, Missouri.9
     

Eliza was widowed 12 January 1908 at the age of 69, when her husband, Lewis Woodger Cox, died at Lafayette County, Missouri.7,8,9

     James Fletcher was born circa 1791 at Washington County, Virginia.5,6 He was the son of Drury Fletcher and Sarah Benham.4,5 James married first Margaret Patterson before 1815 at Lee County, Virginia.5 James married second Nancy Nave, daughter of Jacob Nave and Elizabeth (?), on 12 June 1825 at Lillard County, Missouri. James served in the military as a drummer in the 35th Regiment, Riflement, United States infantry at Lee County, Virginia.8

James purchased a tract of land at Lee County, Virginia, from Drury Fletcher on 2 March 1816.12

James moved to Lillard County (now Lafayette County), Missouri from Virginia after 1816.13

James was widowed before 1825, when his wife, Margaret, died at Lillard County (now Lafayette County), Missouri.10

James was appointed guardian of his daughters, Mary, Sarah, Jane, Martha and Caroline Fletcher on 27 June 1825 at Lafayette County, Missouri.14

James Fletcher applied for letters of administration for the estate of Jacob Nave on 23 April 1833 at Lafayette County, Missouri.15
